Reflective, Evaluation & Audit Learning

As a Professional photographer, who returned to his education to first keep abreast of current and future digital media and to learn more about the animation and the film industry today. Now coming to the end of my second year at BCU and Animation for Games, hard year with a big learning curve

which means Maya is difficult to learn, but offers a wide array of features to master after I have figured out how to work use it.

Life Drawing Class my favorite class my drawing is becoming less complicated and more fluid. Visitation has improved color and texture mean a lot more to me than ever before,"God is in the details".

Modeling characters is improving both visual and physical aspects (Drawing design and Maquette). Need to focus on rigging characters and use it to its full potential to animate more successfully.

In the Business of Animation I enjoyed entering live contest, with short dead lines. My visit to Westminster University and the active lecture in "Motion Capture" was a great success I came away with a lot of information and ideas for my 3rd year studies.

I understand that there is a professional job/ project available with (Hearing impairment or Deafness) clients where "Motion capture" is of interest to them.

Also I have other plans for next year. To bring together two or more methods of Animation into one study/story. To model and make a "stop motion" set for an overlays of a 3D/Maya model/character to complete a story tiled

"The circle of life"(working title).

This will need the following research, Story boards, characters, Maquette, build a large stop motion set(a forest of trees), greenscreen, Chroma key compositing with "After Effects" allowing for the creation of over laid images on to the model set. With a 3D Maya modeled character to move through story with the "stop motion" trees inter-acting at the same time.
